This T4 was manufactured by Parker Hale at a date unknown, as this rifle has very few markings. It is built on a No4 Mk1* receiver, upgraded to Mk2 and its overall condition can be described as very good. Bore is bright and the rifling sharp, metal work finish is very good with 99% finish and matching numbers. Wood work has been completely restored with a professional repair patch has been fitted on the forend. The rifle has been completely restored, gauged, inspected and functioned checked.
Metal work is very good with no damage and blacking is 100%. Receiver markings are limited even for a No4 and consist of serial number, proof marks, 19T and inspectors stamps. There is no wear to the receiver and the bolt cycles smoothly without any excess movement. The rifle is fitted with a PH5C rearsight. The receiver is fitted with a A20 front scope base and parker hale rear scope base.
The bolt has been gauged for correct headspace and firing pin protrusion. Bolt face is excellent and unmarked, Bolt head is a No1 and together with the bolt body, have the customary proof marks, including the 19T stamp. The bolt has the matching number with the receiver.
The barrel is a four groove heavy target model with a superb bore. The rifling is sharp, bright and the lead is clearly identifiable. The muzzle is undamaged and is fitted with a tunnel foresight and blade. Barrel is stamp with 19T proof marks and Model T4 logo.
The furniture is walnut and has been completely restored as there where too many transit marks which made the rifle look scruffy. Woodwork is fitted correctly and nothing is loose. King screw is the standard type and the butt is fitted with a PH butt pad. The forend is fitted with a ancillaries rail, hand stop and bipod.
